All of this term, the KS2 children have been learning about forces in science. Today we have been thinking about air resistance. One of our challenges was to make and improve a parachute by changing its size, shape or the number of holes in it. Here are Daniel, Jack and Millie testing their parachutes.

Today the children have enjoyed a variety of Olympic activities: making Olympic torches, a mini athletic event, finger-painting the Olympic rings and making a 3d model of a London landmark.
Despite the rain we managed to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with an indoor streeet party. The food was fabulous thanks to our wonderful cook, Wendy, and all the kind donations from parents.
