Newsletter – 23rd January 2015

The snow came, the dance goes on (just not at the Opera House) and half-term approaches rapidly…

Snow

The snow came and we had to close. It’s always a tricky decision to get right and we don’t take the decision lightly. If we get more snow, please remember to call school first before setting off. We will try to contact everyone to let you know and we will try to update the website, but it’s not always possible to do both. The safest way is to call school – if there’s no reply, it probably means we’re closed.

Dance Festival

Even though we won’t be taking part in the Dance Festival, we are still working really hard on the routine and will perform it at the Award Assembly on Friday 6th Feb (the last day of this half-term).

Changes to Details

Please let us know if you have any changes in your personal circumstances or contact details eg new phone numbers.

Music Day

Friday 6th Feb will be Music Day in school. The children will be composing and performing various pieces of music throughout the day and we hope to put on a performance at the Award Assembly scheduled for that day.

Art Project

The junior children will be taking part in an Art project on Monday 2nd Feb. We will be joined by an artist linked to the Fringe Festival and they will be working on prints.
