Head's Welcome
Welcome to Earl Sterndale C of E Primary School
Our school Governors and our staff would like to welcome you to Earl Sterndale C of E Primary School. Our school is a small, rural village school - we are like a big family with fabulous staff where care and respect are our watchwords and keeping each other safe and happy is paramount. Our vision (making good decisions together) is at the core of all we do, whether we're thinking about our learning, our behaviour, our community, our environment or our safety and well-being - we develop the skills and knowledge needed to assess the choices we are given and consequently make good decisions with help from the school, our families and our friends. We aim to use this vision, along with British Values and strongly-rooted Christian ethos, to develop resilience, independence, curiosity, responsibility, respect, trust, compassion, tolerance and care to ensure the best outcomes for all our children. We use outdoor learning to make the most of our spectacular setting and personalised learning to address the needs of each child with support from a wide range of external services.
Please call us or pop in to have a look round.
Mr D Holden (head teacher), on behalf of Governors, staff and our whole school community
